A mother's love. A daughter's destiny.
An uplifting story of hope in the midst of sorrow, faith in the face of loss, and the unwavering love of God to fulfill in us the plans that he has made.
Just months after losing her mom to cancer,
Kalie Rose auditions for the Dream of a Lifetime competition. With a secret buried deep in her soul and her mother’s song on her heart, she has come for more than a recording contract. Will she find what she’s looking for? And if she does, will it really make all her dreams come true?
It’s her mother’s words that keep her going:
"Just remember that I love you
While your dreams are coming true."
Letting Go
I pick up some papers, yellowed with age.
The ink has smeared some, but I can read every page.
It says how much you love me, and you're coming home.
I just need to be patient and keep holding on.
But holding on was killing me.
Moving on didn't set me free.
I thought that I let go of you.
Now I'm holding on to every thought of you.
I wonder if you look back at the years
And think of this letter I can't throw away.
Do you know that my heart's
Still breaking today.
Across the miles and over the years,
All that has mattered, I'm holding right here.
Where grace stretches down from heaven,
reaching through the grittiest of circumstances
to extend the gift of a new beginning
in the presence of Almighty God.
Where Jesus is the answer
no matter what the problem is,
and nothing is impossible with Him.
Where the supernatural belongs to God alone,
and salvation is found in the power of Jesus name
--just like the Bible says.
Where realistic characters, facing everyday situations
and struggling to live life to the best of their abilities
in a fallen world of sin,
find their way home by the old paths.
