Welcome to White Fields Press!

White Fields Press is an independent Apostolic publishing company formed by James and Wendi Harrington for the purpose of preserving the Apostolic voice of fiction. 

James and Wendi are proud of their Apostolic faith and live by the oft-used motto: “It’s not just a religion, it’s a lifestyle.” Being Apostolic is not a church building or a particular bible, it’s an integral essence of every moment of every day. Their faith infuses every choice they make and every action they take. There are numerous websites and bible studies available to give you a deeper understanding of the Apostolic faith. That is not the purpose of this website. While we will gladly take your questions about faith and point you in appropriate directions to find answers, we are not here to debate the nuances of different denominations and even different churches within a denomination.  Such comments and posts will be deleted from this site. We are a publishing company. We are interested in your writing and your desire to share it with the world. 

White Fields Press hosts an online writing community called Poet Writer Extraordinaire. This community, in turn, hosts a yearly poetry challenge in April with entrants being considered for publication in a collection. 

Weekend Writing Prompts will be posted each week to help spark creativity and encourage creative fellowship. 

The desire to write and share stories is usually felt very early in a writer’s life. It’s a gift, or a calling when properly encouraged and developed. White Fields Press desires to encourage the youngest writers among us to use their voices and tell their stories for the glory of God. We expect the members of our community to be mindful of the youngest among us and keep their contributions to the community appropriate for all ages.
